The Las Cruces Arts Fair 2012 is looking for artists for its event set to take place at the Las Cruces Convention Center the weekend of March 16-18, 2012.

Artists must submit a $25.00 application/jury fee, and send an application fee to the Las Cruces Arts Fair at www.zapplication.org/index.php. Artists must also have five images including one booth shot without the artist\'s name. The Juried event is for artists working in acrylics, pastels, pencil, pen and ink, oils, watercolors, fabric, leather, weaving, glass, jewelry, metals, mixed media, photography, porcelain, pottery, sculpture and wood. Mass-produced or factory-produced work in any category is not permitted, and 10x10 booths start at $375.

In its 2nd year, the Las Cruces Arts Fair is the newest juried fine arts and crafts event in the Southwest. The 2012 Arts Fair will be held in the Las Cruces Convention Center, a venue that maximizes space for artists and artisans to show their work to an enthusiastic public that is anticipating reconnecting with the inaugural Arts Fair participants. Artists participating are exposed to fine art aficionados from New Mexico, Texas and the New Mexico-Texas border land.

The 2012 Las Cruces Arts Fair begins on Friday evening, March 16, 2012 with a ticketed VIP preview. Artists and artisans will have the opportunity to connect with collectors and aficionados. The show opens to the general public on Saturday, March 17 at 10 am and will run through Sunday, March 18 closing at 5 pm.

It is no exaggeration to say that the inaugural Arts Fair was a success for participating vendors and the public. The Arts Fair offers excellent marketing and sponsorship opportunities for business to support the Arts Fair and to connect with a fine arts-loving public.

For more than 40 years, the Doña Ana Arts Council, presenter of the Las Cruces Arts Fair, has worked to support and enhance the arts and cultural life of Southern New Mexico. The Arts Council presents the annual Renaissance ArtsFaire (RenFaire), and Color Las Cruces, a plein aire art experience that supports the Arts Council\'s Career Art Path program for middle school students. The Doña Ana Arts Council is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.
